Regenerative agriculture is about creating a better, kinder, more positive future for the planet. It is not prescriptive and is never “done”. We are proud to partner with New Zealand’s ZQ Merino, the world’s leading ethical wool brand. ZQ stands for a better quality of life for the animals, for our planet, our people and you. Regenerative agriculture aims to develop practices that give more than take, and regenerate, rather than extract resources.

ZQRX takes a big picture view of the global challenges we all face and contributes to solving them by accelerating small, collective, regenerative-driven actions. We apply ZQRX to our wool growers and their farming systems, challenging them to go beyond sustainability by deeply understanding the complex interactions between their livestock, soils, climate, ecology and community. We work with them to apply strategies to continually improve their performance against key indicators.

The ZQRX regenerative index and approach to regenerative agriculture focuses on principles and practices that can be applied selectively or collectively to improve key environmental, animal welfare and social indicators. ZQRX is principle-driven and focused on tools not rules, progress over perfection and regeneration over extraction. ZQRX also runs a deep research and development programme to ensure strong science and data validate decision making and outcomes. Through ensuring our farmers are giving more than they take, in both resource regeneration & positive environmental impacts, we can better people and planet.
